Get Ready for the Rotary Showdown!

This winter and spring, clubs across the district will compete in an NCAA-style bracket challenge for a chance to win:

  • $1,000 for the first-place winner

  • $500 for the second-place winner

 

Here’s the gist:

The Showdown is a fun and friendly competition based on membership growth and Foundation contributions. The more people who join your club and the more giving to the Rotary Foundation, the more points your club earns! Most importantly, this challenge is designed to be motivating, engaging, and full of Rotary spirit.

Insider Scoop:

Teams are divided into four divisions:

  • 2 Large Club Divisions (24+ members)

  • 2 Small Club Divisions (24 or fewer members)

Please review the attached document that was sent out and let us know if you have any questions. One important note: points accumulate, so earning points early will help carry your club throughout the competition.

 

Scoring

1 Point for every $1 donated to The Rotary Foundation Annual SHARE Fund

300 Points for a ONE TIME $100 donation to the Polio Plus Fund with the Rotary foundation in honor of your clubs President Elect (this is the PELS challenge)

500 Points for every new member your club brings into Rotary

It’s that simple- raise funds, grow Rotary, & climb the bracket
