District 7210 Rotaract

We are Rotaract District 7210, representing the lower Hudson Valley in New York! Rotaract is a service club for young professionals ages 18 to 30 who are dedicated to community and international service. Its membership totals over 250,000 in more than 10,000 clubs worldwide. Rotaract clubs are self-governing and self-supporting and can be either university- or community-based. Individual Rotary clubs sponsor Rotaract clubs and offer guidance and support, making Rotaract clubs true “partners in service” and key members of the family of Rotary. 

Rotaract District 7210's mission is to serve as a resource to Rotaract Clubs within our District by:

  • STRENGTHENING existing Rotaract Clubs within our District by providing resources and training.

  • ESTABLISHING new Rotaract Clubs in the Hudson Valley.

  • CREATING opportunities for Rotaract Clubs to collaborate with Rotarians on projects, events, and fundraising initiatives.

  • BRIDGING the Rotary-Rotaract relationship at a District level.

  • REPRESENTING Rotaract Clubs within Rotary District 7210.

Vassar-Haiti Roteract

 
The Club: The education committee is a student led initiative that seeks to provide basic education to the children in Chermaitre, Haiti, as well as educate the wider global community on Haitian culture and history. As a committee, we fund raise to support our schools & education programs in Haiti and hold events, panels, & discussions at Vassar and beyond to educate about Haitian culture and society.

Dominican College Roteract

 
The Club: Some of the projects and programs include: a Club fair, Clean the yard and plant at a group home (with the Pearl River Rotary); a Sock drive, a toiletries drive; 3 Midnight Runs to New York City. Also, we will be working on the Pearl River Rotary "Share Christmas and the Holidays" event.
