Importance of Our Think Differently Committee
-
What makes us a great organization and brings us together is Rotary, an identity we all share. However, what makes us an even greater organization, are the identities we bring as Rotarians. Together when we think differently, to understand how our differences add value to our clubs, we become a catalyst for our communities- a more authentic representation of who we serve.
-
Rotary International is a global entity with over one million diverse members. When the organization proposed the creation of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committees, here in district 7210, we brought forward our “Think Differently” committee.
-
As a growth initiative, this committee focuses on the present and future of our clubs when thinking about DEI. We look forward to working with each club, and together we will "GROW Rotary."
