Did you know about the wonderful opportunity of Rotary World Peace Fellowships? We need your help in recruiting qualified candidates and spreading the word through your clubs and communities! Please mention to your membership that this opportunity exists and ask them to share this concept with their contacts. I am sure that we can find good, qualified candidates if all Rotarians spread the word about this unique and meaningful Fellowship opportunity.

The Fellowship is provided to individuals to attend one of the seven Rotary Peace Centers for International Studies in Peace and Conflict resolution around the world. All expenses related to the Fellowship are paid for by Rotary.

Up to 50 Rotary World Peace Fellowships for master’s degree level studies and up to 50 Rotary Peace Fellowships for professional development certificate studies are offered annually on a world competitive basis for study at the one of the seven Rotary Peace Centers around the world. Rotary Peace Fellows obtain a master’s degree in International Relations, Peace Studies, Conflict Resolution and related areas or a professional development certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies.

Through their unique and diverse interdisciplinary programs, the seven Rotary Peace Centers provide academic and practical training to better equip peace fellows for leadership roles in solving the many problems that contribute to conflict around the world. Some of the basic requirements for an applicant are that they have a bachelor’s degree, a minimum of work experience, a fluency in English, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to international studies and peace.

All candidates must apply through a local Rotary Club. Applications are due to me by April 1, 2021. There is no cost to the Rotary Club nor to the District. Applications will be available online in February of 2021.

Please share this information with your membership. Interested parties should contact me through my contact details below. Specific details are available at www.rotary.org

I would be happy to visit your club and talk about Peace Fellows. Thanks for all that you do for Rotary.

Yours in Rotary,
